Try It Yourself!

One way to get started is by reusing an H5P content type. Download the example presentation by clicking on the Reuse link in the bottom left corner of the content. Now you can upload this file to your Pressbooks site by clicking H5P content then Add New.

Next, click the “Upload” tab at the top to upload an existing .h5p file. Select a file to upload and click “Use”. The editor will now load and you can start editing H5P content. Here you may edit all fields in the H5P. Saving will update the H5P as well. Use “Tutorial” and “Example” links at the top to learn more about this content type and to see some examples of usage.

Another way to get started is to create a new activity in Pressbooks. In your book click H5P content then Add New. Scroll through the list of content types available then click Details then Use for the one you choose. Here you may edit all fields in the H5P. Saving will update the H5P as well. Use the “Tutorial” and “Example” links at the top to learn more about your chosen content type and to see some examples of usage.
