Getting started

Trubox is a place for TRU educators and learners to build websites that support their educational and research activities. See Request a Site below for more details.

What can you do with Trubox?

TRU educators and learners have created all sorts of great sites in support of their activities:

  • Class use: course sites, blogs, portfolios, splot-base sites, etc.
  • Event support: sites that support conferences or symposiums
  • Community building: intercultural, indigenisation, open educational resources
  • Blogs and Portfolios
  • Other special purpose sites

See the Site Directory for examples and inspiration.
The sites on trubox are hosted in BC and are WordPress based. You can start a couple of places: with a brand spanking new empty shiny site, or use another site as a starting point.
